I have some friends who sell avon and I am not a fan of the Products, The skin care is not very high quality. I feel like it does nothing for me. The make up isn't too great either.

But I love the jewlery! and the Purses that Mark has.

I've tried Avon and I like it. If I wanted to save money I'd definitely buy from Avon! There's a lot of cute, nice stuff. They have some good quality products with affordable prices. I love it thought and think that if you like it don't worry about what other people think. Oh by the way I read in a magazine I think Lucky or Seventeen or maybe it was People anyways that some celebrities love avon and use it alot.

I used to use some of it's moisturizer/skin care lines. When I decided that I wanted to sell cosmetics from home, I choose Mary Kay. I liked the makeup side of the MK house better than the Avon colors. My opinion is that the quality for MK is overall better.
I don't regret my decision at all - the product's great and the Company is as well!

If you're going to listen to oppinions of Avon, please focus on the oppinions of customers and not people who 'think' it might be sold door to door, or 'think' Avon tests on animals. Just rediculous. They're giving oppinions on something that they have no experience with or knowledge about.

First of all, Avon is very high quality. If you're going to try the products, ask your rep for some samples and she'll gladly provide them for you. They have a 100% guarantee, so the worst case scenario is that you try a particular product and can return it if disatisfied. They have products for each age group, so whether you're young (check out the mark product line) or an older woman..you can find everything from cosmetics to fashion and gifts.

As for testing on animals. That's a lie. On June 2, 1989, Avon announced a permanent end to all animal testing of our products, including testing done in outside laboratories.

Avon was the first major cosmetic company in the world to end animal testing!

I don't care for AVON. I had some very bad experiences on more than one occasion. I am now 100% addicted to Mary Kay!!! Every product works as promised and they are guaranteed. I love the fact that they have been the #1 company for so many consecutive years. Not to mention the consultants come to you and spend time with you, teaching you what you want, letting you try the products. PLUS if you join you ALWAYS make 50% on everything and not just sometimes.

Well, I usually use more expensive make up like Chanel...but I've tried Avon and I like it. If I wanted to save money I'd definitely buy from Avon! There's a lot of cute, nice stuff.

Avon is the worst ever. They spend a fortune on advertising but the quality of makeup, skincare, and fragrances is bad. I used a line of their skin care once and the toner had so much fragrance in it that my face felt dirtier after I used it. Poor quality but cheap. You get what you pay for. Their perfumes end up smelling like watered down perfume and alcohol. Yuck.

I like Avon and their products but... my most recent rep wouldn't accept credit cards, only cash and I found that inconvenient.

They have some good quality products with affordable prices. The costume jewelry is also of a very good quality. It was convenient for people who work in an office and can't get out much.
