Betta fish are actually called Siamese Fighting fish. Males cannot live together or they will kill each other. The male fish make a "bubble nest" on top of the tank for females to deposit eggs in after mating. Then, the female had better get out of dodge because the male may kill her. The male betta is attentive and protective until the babies are born..but then, the babies better get out of dodge or the males will eat them. Bettas puff out their gills as a sign of aggression (which is really quite intimidating) OR to woo the ladies. Not sure if mine is trying to seduce me or not. They really should be kept in at least 3 gallons of water.......those stupid little bowls and cups are cruel.

Chihuahuas have small bladders and need to go outside at least 4 or 5 times day and night. A litter box may help if you can train them to use it. They have problems with their teeth as they age and bad breath. Bad hind legs are what you need to watch for in puppies. They are like having a baby.

also, a common misconception is that all horses sleep standing up. this is not true. some horses will lock their knees and sleep standing if they feel uncomfortable or on gaurd, or just because they like it that way. in the same way, some horses will lay down if they are comfortable.

if you flip over a shark on its belly and doesn't flip back in time it will drown and die. it becomes somewhat stunted
