if you're absolutely both clean, then how the hell would you get a virus!?! It doesn't just appear out of nowhere. you'll be fine as long as you are both absolutely clean. but be careful to make sure that one of you doesn't get the virus from someone else. I also agree with gazpacho, aids doesn't only affect gay men.

Aids is a virus. One person has to have it to transfer it to another person.

I have read that you have to swallow bucket loads of an infected man's semen to catch aids.. but you can also be "unlucky" and get it from a teaspoon full. But it's not about luck, it's about awareness.

The virus is passed on by finding its way into another person's blood stream. If it can find a way into a man's semen, it will. If you have put that infected semen in your mouth there is a bigger chance that it will infect you than if it were ejaculated onto your foot (so long as you don't have any wounds on your foot).

How can you be sure that even though both men have been tested that neither of them have been infected in the intervening period?

Always use a condom. Aids doesn't only affect men.

it could take up to 6 months for a result to show positive on the HIV test......... swallowing semen is not the ideal way of getting hiv from someone though.

basically if both men are clean and you swallow, i really don't think anything will happen, but make sure your man ain't foolin around with another cause if so you might want to check yourself out at the doctors for another check up.

it can take up to 6 months for HIV to be plentiful enough in your body to be detected by the typical ELISA or western Blot. So, you may have gotten infected yesterday and be negative today...
good luck
