Follow up with your photo-postcard every few months to every casting director on your mailing list.

Join the movie extras union....there IS one. Also check out the biz papers for open calls for extras....send resume and short note to production cos. Sometimes there's a little pay, or carfare, and usually food....but that's about it...maybe it'll lead to a line or two...maybe you'll get noticed....at least there'll be fun conversations....
