I'm not into PC games, but a friend had convinced me to buy The SIms (not The Sims 2). I liked it, and after a long time I bought Livin' Lange (expansion). The cover says that there are new items like the Chemistry Lab, Electric Guitar, new characters like the Grim Reaper, etc. But when I installed it, all that I saw a few new items. Do you think the only way I can have the "new items" is for me to buy The Sims 2?

Check the menus, they're all in the menus. Also the Grim Reaper appears only when someone is going to die,I think.

All your new items are scattered in the menus, as well as the special items (like grim reaper) only appearing at special times.
