U.S. citizenship can be acquired in one of the following ways:
birth in the U.S
birth to U.S. citizen parents, or
naturalization of parents.
Birth in the United States
Under United States law a child born on U.S. soil automatically becomes a United State Citizen. You'll be considered a citizen for life.
Birth to U.S. Citizen Parents
In many circumstances, even though a child is born outside th
U.S., if at least one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of the child's birth, he or she automatically acquires U.S. citizenship. When this child marries and has children, those children may also acquire U.S. citizenship at birth. The laws governing whether or not a child born outside U.S. boundaries acquires U.S. citizenship from his or her parents have changed several times. The law that was in effect on the date of the child's birth determines whether he or she acquired U.S. citizenship from a parent or grandparent.
Automatic U.S. Citizenship Through Naturalized Parents
When parents become naturalized U.S. citizens, the children become U.S. citizens automatically, provided they have green cards and are under age 18 at the time. Becoming a U.S. citizen in this way has a special benefit because a child who automatically gets U.S. citizenship through the naturalization of either or both parents does not have to participate in a naturalization ceremony and can thereby avoid taking an oath renouncing allegiance to any country but the U.S. This allows the child to keep the citizenship of the country in which he or she was born while also gaining U.S. citizenship.

Do you mean which? I'm not sure witches can be citizens.

If a person is born in the United States, they automatically have citizenship by law. However, to obtain the necessary documents they must prove they were born in the US. There is usually a witness, such as the doctor or midwife who assisted at the birth, to sign the birth certificate. Another way to get citizenship at birth is to be born to American parents overseas. If only one parent is American, they must prove that they spent at least 16 years of actual residence in the USA. Then a consular certificate of birth is issued, and the person is a full citizen who is ineligible to become President.

Naturalization is possible through a number of instances. One of these is through marriage to a US citizen. Another is after living and working in the US for a certain amount of time, and taking some citizenship tests. Naturalization involves a ceremony.

This is not meant to be mean, but how are you going to learn anything about the subject if someone else writes the paragraphs for you? If you do a little research (and two paragraphs doesn't call for much research) you can easily do this yourself and you'll know the answer when it comes time for your test.
