I don't mean to sound dramatic but I'm at the end of my rope. I can't hold a job, I lose every boyfriend I ever had, I can't make friends, I have no family, all I have is my little dog and a job I'm probably about to be fired from (this will make 100). I hate to sound needy but I feel so exhausted from trying, I perk up, try again and then this happens again. My bf is leaving me, my job is about to end, I don't think I can stand to start again just to watch it fall apart

Sweetheart, I hear you. I myself am still in fall-out after a hormonal illness that wracked both brain and body, and if it didn't break down my organs and kill me, I might have tried to do it myself.
And then the blood tests were taken, and my life was saved.
And yet I STILL lost the job I had when I was going to the doctor. A week before the diagnosis, mind you.
I know, honey, I know.
Get to a doctor.
Maybe your man will leave, maybe the job will get rid of a human for financial and practical reasons, but
it does get better.
You need the right help, not just YA. Please go in search of it.
You will find answers, one day, but you've got to go looking in the right places.

Honey, you need professional help, not what you will get on Yahoo Answers. You seem to be profoundly depressed and probably need to be on a medication that can help you. I have been so clinically depressed that all I could see was a little space in front of my eyes with black all around it and I went on an anti-depressant and feel wonderful. Your depression is affecting your ability to hold a job, keep a friend and live a happy normal life. You sound suicidal and you can't do that when all you have is a chemical imbalance. Taking medicine to correct it is no different than taking insulin for diabetes. You will die w/o the insulin and being as depressed as you are is also life threatening. If you have a family Dr you should call right now. If not, you can call a suicide hotline which should be listed in the front of your telephone book. If you can't get help anywhere else, go to the hospital emergency room and tell them how you are feeling. Your life has worth and value. You just have an illness. You matter to God and you matter to me. If anyone on here says stupid stuff to you, remember that there are a lot of immature people in the world who have no understanding of a real problem or solution. I know it is hard to make a decision when you are depressed but today is the day to start over on a new life and to be a new person. I will be praying for you. Good Luck and God Bless You

Serious depression can strike regardless of the circumstances in your life. You may feel as though you are depressed because of problems with relationships and work, but you may be suffering from a real chemical imbalance that prevents you from having good work and interpersonal relationships. I know from personal experience that depression can strike at any time -- even when things seem to be going perfectly. You need to treat your depression and suicidal thoughts as something separate from your job and personal concerns. In fact, your depression may be part of what makes it so hard to keep a job or a boyfriend!

If you are afraid that you will lose your job and that this will impact your access to health care, see a doctor NOW. Don't wait no matter how tempting it is. You are not a failure, but you have a medical problem that needs to be treated. It is not normal to feel depressed, it is not normal to think of suicide. You need to be open to the possibility that there are underlying medical reasons for your depression and anxiety and that these can be treated and improved. You are not doomed. Hey - you have a little dog! That's more than I can say -- I'm totally animal deprived. Start taking more walks with your furry little pal, see a doctor that you trust, and maybe try some breathing exercises to relax. Corny, yes, and I resisted these sorts of things for years, but it always helps to at least try to improve your quality of life.

I wish you the best of luck and send all of my empathy -- I know how it is to feel hopeless, stuck in a rut, and doomed to a life that you don't feel you deserve. You can change your life, don't forget that.

Your not alone on your issues as many have simalar issues of dealing with people.

I will stick my neck out a little on this and take it your do not getting along with others for whatever reasons.

I would guess, and I am guessing now, that your selfish, meaning, not really "bad" but self centered and not having the ability to see both sides of the coin; maybe, your thinking "poor me" When you could be thinking about how another might feel while being with you, or around you or working with you; simply put, How They View You.

What are you like, to them? You really must work at this end of it, try seeing how they look at you. It's not easy, so work at it.

If your selfish fine, if not, fine, but, if your thoughts are controlling and making your hostile, maybe that is the issue as your hostility makes you impossible....maybe your controlling, jelous type? All have origins of other issues....find the root and get help if you cannot.

You can view yourself as having a zillion problems, yet, it may be just a few issues you have failed to work out...

I sense you have someone who you can relate to, ask them to be 100% honest and to tell you about how they view you as a person. Feedback is important.

With your description of what's going on, again I'd guess your hard to be around our get along with.

Do you never take advice? Find it hard to take advice or find it harder to have someone tell you your wrong? Your not alone.

I know someone who is like this, they fail to listen and have asll the answers, yet, they are Always making the same exact mistakes time and again; and they never want to take any advice and become hostile if you try to guide them in the right direction.

If this is you, get help. See a psychologist and try looking closetr at what your doing and Why your doing it. In the event you're the type who responds, "I don't need no shrink"....examine that as a start as your wrong about that; you take on e little step first for yourself anf make no demands on anyone. I think you'll find it fine that your taking responsibility for your own actions.

For me, issues have been a few people whom I felt "wronged" me in a Major way. I feel utter rage that they did what they did only to recieve promotions and high paying jobs for lying and protecting the city they worked for; I have to get over this or it will control me. I cannot allow this so I will deal with it and place it where it belongs as best I can, then move forward.

In closing, your parents, Aunt or Uncle, no matter how old you are, are a good source of support...use them.

good luck.

Friend, your little dog needs you! What do you do for fun other than agonizing? Find a hobby you like, you will meet like-minded people and meeting people = networking which could hook you up with a more suitable job. Boyfriends come and go, you must know that by now, and it's not just you. I've lost the "love of my life" several times, now. It's part of growing as a person, to gather strength from the trials and tribulations life hands you.

There is drama involved here. But there are also contradictions. You say you are trying, but you keep losing jobs ( 100???? Surely that is an exaggeration!!) If you areTRULY TRYING to stay employed, why do you keep losing these jobs?? Why do you keep losing boyfriends? To have no friends is unhealthy. What I am saying is... have you taken a good hard look at yourself? Are you just expecting life to come to you whille you sit on your bean bag... or, are you putting yourself out there... hey, life is not easy for those not willing to fight for it. If all you have is a little dog, I grant you this..... 90% of the earth's population does not have that. I ask you.... are you really and truly trying to help yourself... or, do you just expect good things to come your way because you exist. Go out and fight for a better life !!! You can do this !!! It's what we all do. Few of us are privileged.

Don't give up hope! Have you tried moving to a new city to get a fresh start? Maybe a new place will help you find new people and a new job. Also try seeking proffesional help because you are not alone!

Well, you are creating all these situations and if I were you I would ask myself why? You are making it all fall apart each and every time. You must learn what to do and how to do things to keep things going well and learn to get through whatever it is that is making you quit and never follow-through with boyfriends, jobs, etc. This is your lesson to learn. You need to change your belief about yourself that you cannot make something work. Once you change this belief you will change also. Your belief must change first.
