What is the earning potential or salary of an olympic gymnast?

I reallly don't know about Gymnasts but in track & field you make money/ a salary through appearance fees at invitational meets mostly in Europe some in North America, and through a clothing/shoe sponsor. If you want to compete in another Olympics you have to be a amateur athlete so you aren't really supposed to be earning money,all monies are put in trust where you can withdraw money for living and training expenses.

You get bonuses from the USOC for winning medals, but your actually a ametur athelete so you can't have any endorsments or anything like that.
