I'd go for loyality. What do you think?

Loyalty is good. Trust too.
It may sound selfish, but a lot of times we like our friends for the way they make us feel. If we feel comfortable around them, we are automatically ourselves, and honest and nice... All these things will make a strong friendship.... But it all starts with feeling comfortable with each other.

The most important qualities in a friend are trust, honest, being a friend, and keeping secrets.

i agree with the other person! trust, even after u fall out and maybe turn enemys. it shows they are a decent person and respect the fact that once upon a time they liked ya as a mate and have respect for other ppl.
friends that ring just 2 say hey and are there for u in bad times are important too

Someone you know that is going to be there for you no matter what, who understands you and can tell you right from wrong.
As well as being loyal, trust worthy, ect ect, but i think without those things, surly they wouldn't be your friend anyway?

If their honest, trustworthy,and kind. Those 2 me are the most important qualities in all my friends.

Same as you Loyality, without loyality there is no trust and therefore no friendship.

T'RUST' is the ONLY quality in a true friend!
Believe me, there aren't that many people out who qualify!

Someone who you can trust, you could tell them anything without feeling like they are judging you (for example you had a wee in a busy swimming pool).
Loyalty is a key factor in any kind of relationship!

Trust, loyalty, and acceptance. And someone who is willing to help you hide a dead body. Or at least drive with you over to your cheating spouse/significant other's house at 3 AM to administer a beat-down.
