Was it fair? Was he guilty? Was he just a fall guy?

How deep will this go? Resignations? Impeachment?

Guilty as charged, but ordered to lie by the Vice President, who should be impeached immediately and imprisoned to await trial.

It was a hard case to follow, so I can't really judge on whether or not Scooter Libby deserved what he got. One thing that should not have happened, but did, was the looooonnnnnng trial proceedings, as in any trial, especially government. I think that the verdict should've also come much sooner than it did. But that's our government, slow-going and deliberate (pun inserted.)

Let the justice system work through its processes. The ones jumping up and down shouting impeachment makes them sound stupid. When you start circumventing or refusing to abide by the legal system you cripple it. I know the liberal haters don't care about that. But failing to let the system work is the worst thing you can do.

Been found guilty as charged. His former boss Mr. Cheney needs to be held accountable for his actions and also the master mind Karl Rove.

He's just another Oliver North for the government. He's a fall guy. Someone should be impeached - Bush and Cheney.

The whole trial was a farce that should never have happened. Joe Wilson lied to the NY Times about what he found in Niger. (FACT) Valerie Plame was never covert. (FACT) Armitage was the source of Novak's column, not Libby. (FACT)

If Libby lied, he deserves his punishment, but the trial should have never ever happened.

I think until the appeal process has been gone through, that we really won't know. If he appeals (which his attorney says they are) it could take months if not years for this to be finally resolved.

Well deserved. What's good enough for Martha is good enough for Scooter.
