Get some brown socks and sew buttons on for eyes. You can make the jersey out of felt and glue it on.

get a HAKEEM OLAJUWON bobble head doll, then get maybe a teddy bear dressed in the team uniform,,,Cut a body and arms by tracing around your hand (remember to hold the three middle fingers together and the thumb and pink straight out.) on a piece of his flesh colored fabric. Add an inch all around and cut out. stitch on the trace line and go around two or three times, so it NEVER wears out.
sewcut a tiny hole in the top and glue the hole to the inside of the bobble head doll pushing the fabric up inside and using a thick craft glue that dries clear.
Dress in uniform and TAADAAA
