dude am a crazy Barca fan but rules are the rules, there's no need for extra time. Barca was way below it's real potential and didn't deserve to win.
Vector Valdes made us lose in the first game, he's the one to blame.

it is fair as it is and the teams know the rules before the game. Barca new they had to win by two goals to go on, but they could only score one goal. I think it would've been different if Eto'o would've been healthy and had played both games. Also, adding more time in the knock-out stages before the final is very draining on the teams. El classico from this weekend was great but I think that if both teams had played extra time in their champions league games, since both did have an aggregate tie, they would've been tired and would not have been able to put on such a great performance. I'm a Barca fan and I say leave it as it is.

It's a tough go. Unfortunately, Barca shouldn't have let in the away goal at home. I thought Liverpool played strong defense and made it hard for Barca. They should have started with Gudjohnsen and left Etoo on the field towards the end. Ronaldinho hit the post and that goal would have changed the game. He's still master though: http://www.soccer-training-info.com/ronaldinho_compilation.asp

Haha. Adding extra time for no reason would've been unfair!

I don't know if you support Barca or Liverpool, but whichever, it was a fair match. Fair chances, fair saves, fair calls, a fair goal. It was all pretty fair. Barca got the opp and they capitalized on it. Thankfully, Liverpool did their best and held them off the rest of the match and advanced on away goals. There was nothing unfair, just pure happenstance.

no this is very fair.... liverpool beat them 2-1 in the first game and they were even away... being home and being away has a major differance... so barca beat them 1-0 on anfield LIVERPOOL SCORED 2 GOALS AWAY FROM THEIR OWN HOME TURF! it took barca two games to score 2 goals as it only took liverpool 1 liverpool won this game fair and square... as for inter... they new that they had to go in and score because they let valencia tie w/ them in the first leg... they had chances to capitolize but didn't... those r just the rules and i think its very fair

Ok...IM A LIVERPOOL FAN, but when it comes to Spanish football I support Barca, I thought it was a fair game, and the best team came out on top, Not offencing or saying barce didnt play good, but it is like "May the best man win".

It does make each match exciting for different reasons. Play solid D at home and you have a great shot at making it through. Or have an offensive explosion away to advance. It creates some strategies you can't see any other way.

i like the away goal rule because it is harder to score away from home... that would mean that a team could tie 2-2 at home and then go on the road and play defense the whole game... the away goal rule is fine and they shuld keep using it

It was a fair game and Liverpool was the better team, they beat the champions at home. I'm really happy with the result, Liverpool deserves that champions league trophy.
