I studied child care at GCSE a couple of years ago and got a B + on my development course work, the best way to do it is try and spend am hour with the child you re studying, depending on their age depends what you plan to do during The observations, the younger the child the less there is, its better when the child's about two and is piking up and using all the things u mentioned, language, social, emotional, physical and intellectual development, just try and watch the child as carefully as you can and write down everything they do even the smallest things they all count, if this has helped but you still want some more info contact me
