Most doctors prefer not to do pap smears when you're bleeding. The blood can interfere with getting a good sample of the cervical cells to find out whether they're normal and healthy or not. Call your doctor or health care provider to find out what their policy about it is.

I wouldnt think they would want to do a pap smear if your on your period because they stick their fingers up you and everything.. The only time I have had a pap smear is my first doctors visit when i found out I was pregnant so of course I was not on my period..

Your doctors office will prefer you NOT be on your monthly cycle. Call them and let them know.....they will most likely want to reschedule you.

No honey they won't do a pap test on you if you are menustrating.... you should probably reschedule for another appointment. Good luck and best wishes!!

Call your doctor, they will probably reschedule for when you aren't on it.
