You shouldn't remove the female until she's just about to give birth. And then, put her back in her tank as soon as she's done, leaving the new fry in their own tank until they grow big enough that they don't fit in the adults' mouths. If you don't have 2 tanks, you can leave them all in the one tank, but provide lots of small-leaved plants or piles of large rocks for the fry to hide in so they don't get eaten.

Do you know how many males and females you have? You can spread the males' attention and thus minimize the harassment to any one female by making sure you have 2 or 3 females to every 1 male.

As long as you have at least one of each sex then all you really have to do it maintain the tank and wait. They really will do all the work for you.

Males will chase females, that's just the way it works. If he is really harrassing her badly then yes, the best thing to do would be remove her to her own tank before she has the babies.

She's pregnant. they male is just doing what comes natural.
If you want an explosion of babies, put her in a breeding trap so that she can't eat them after they are born and they are protected from other fish and the filter until they mature a bit.
