I had a misscarriage a year ago at 4 or 5 weeks. I am pregnant again and in my 7th week and I am having some cramping, however, I am not having any spotting or bleeding . Do you think it is a sign of a misscarriage? or just my body changing to make room for the baby? I am just a worried.

I have already seen my doctor for my first check up and all was well..but I am still worried for the simple fact that I misscarried before. I was curious if other women have had the same cramping?

See your doctor to give you peace of mind. But, I had cramping until i was about 9 weeks pregnant. It felt like menstrual cramps, and my doctor said it was normal. I kept running to the bathroom to check for spotting or bleeding, and (thankfully) never had any. I am now 37 weeks and waiting to give birth. Good luck.....and hang in there. Hopefully you'll feel better once you hit the 12 week mark.

I always cramp during the first part of pregnancy. I'm always worried about miscarriage also. I've had 2 and a still birth, so I basically worry my whole pregnancy. As long as there is no spotting and your symptoms of pregnancy are still there, you should be fine. If you notice the cramps becoming more intense, or it feels different, call your doctor. If you notice spotting or a drop in your pregnancy symptoms, call your doctor also. Since you have had a miscarriage, you will always worry about your pregnancy, it's normal. Even women who haven't had a miscarriage worry. Just try to relax and know that this is normal. It could be your uterus stretching, or your ligaments starting to give a little. It could also be your ovaries. Talk to your doctor about it at your next appointment if they continue. There is usually nothing wrong, but it's better to be cautious then not know you are having problems. It's also better to get reassurance about how you are feeling. So don't be afraid to call your doctor. Good luck!!! I hope everything is well and works out good for you!!

Is it cramping, or more of a pulling sensation? I felt that when I was pregnant. Your uterus stretches and you can feel that at some points. But since you've had a miscarriage in the past, don't hesitate to ask your Dr. any time you are scared or worried about something different or new.

Its really probley your body changing. I lost a baby at 16 weeks a year ago, now im 16 weeks again & so far so good. One miscarraige doesnt predict another one but just to put your mind at ease talk to your dr. I completly understand what you are feeling im still kina nervous. The miscarriage is one of the hardest things ive ever dealt with. Just remember every pregnancy is differant. Good luck sweetie & congrats...

I'm 7 weeks too! no i wouldn't worry too much unless the cramps are making you double over or you are getting bleeding with them.. it is very common to experience period like cramps during your first trimester as your uterus and other inside are stretching and moving too make room for the bub!! and try not to stress about it too much stress can make things worse... email me if you want to talk!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my second child, and with both pregnancy's i had tummy pains. this is perfectly normal. it's your muscles moving and stretching making way for your baby. give your doctors a phone call and let them know, just to get some more reassurance, your be fine. good luck

The best person to tell you is your Dr. There are so many changes going on with your body, it's normal to be paranoid, especially since you already had a miscarriage.
I would put the Dr. on speed dial and call him whenever you're concerned!
Best of luck to you.

Cramping can be normal, and happens around this time. I had a lot in my second pregnancy.
I would just take it easy, and see the doctor if you see any signs of spotting.
I hope this helps.
