I have had my IUD since December and I really love it, but I am concerned because my periods are beginning to slack off. Last month I had cramps and bled for maybe an hour, and this month, my period still hasn't arrived. It's weird, as much as having a period bums me out, NOT having one just makes me nervous. I just wanted to know if other women with the Mirena IUD are having the same experience.

I have had the same thing. Don't worry. It is completely normal. I have only had light spotting once, and have not had a single period since. According to the manufacturer, 20% of users stop having periods all together. Check to make sure your strings are still in place. If so, you are fine.

It is VERY common with the Mirena IUD. Check the Manufacturers website or talk with your GYN/Midwife. I wouldn't be concerned because it is so common but it would still be good to talk with your healthcare provider. Mirena advertises little or no period. It's because of the hormone that is transferred to your body by the IUD.
