Does anyone ever get really bad cramps the day of your period and it continues to hurt a little but then it never starts?? Is that bad? Unhealthy?

Is it possible you could be pregnant? This is one of the early signs of pregnancy. If there is no way you are pregnant, then I would call your doctor. There could be something else going on that you need to know about. If you could be pregnant, get a test and see what it says. Since you are past your normal time to start, a test should show accurately. Good luck!!

it is possible, mine will do that every now and then and not really start. And yes you could be pregnant, but dammit its so annoying, you ask a question and everyone always says you could be pregnant, take a pregnancy test, blah blah blah sorry that just drives me nuts, of course there is a chance of that, but it sounds like you know your not pregnant, maybe you dont have sex, or something like that. Dont worry, my period does that sometimes too, its not necessarily unhealthy, everyones body is different, mine does that cuz i have irregular periods. Good luck, dont worry, its normal.

But if the cramps are really bad and still no preiod, get it checked out, it might just be like a hormone imbalance

This also could be considered normal if you are very young or very active. Either way you should speak with your doctor and find a solution to help ease the cramps. You and your doctor might consider birth control pills for this. I know they helped with mine when I was young and then I used the depo provera shot later on for the same reasons.

Drink in a lot of water or taken in a lot of fluids a day or two before you are due. Don’t miss a meal during this time. It is mostly due muscle fatigue or dehydration. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
