Sure, the guy was a jerk to you, but that's no reason to sue.
If it's their cart, then that's just a bonus service. You can't complain about not getting a service that other people don't even provide. They don't have to do that in the first place.
Get your parents to contact the management about the incident. That way the employee can get better training on how to deal with customers.

Walmart is pretty hard to sue.. I try 6 yrs ago when my son got his head split open on top and it was totally their fault.. I couldn't find a lawyer who would take the case all saying it was almost impossible to sue them.. So I ended up paying all the hospital bills myself and got nothing at all from them.
What you should do is go see the Head Manager there and talk to him about it.. Then call the corporate office and file a complaint.
If you had a real injury or sickness I don't understand why you left in a hurry.. You should have told the guy get the manager and call the cops.. no biggie, you would have been fine and the guy would have made a total *** out of himself..
I have taken my son to walmart when he was sick and weak to get his med's and I put him in an electric cart too or a wheel chair. They have never said anything to me even though some of the oldies at the door didn't like it ... I just gave them the LOOK.. that says DON'T DARE SAY A WORD TO ME.

It may not have even been a Wal-Mart employee. Another thing to consider. Wal-Mart changed their shoplifting policy to not call the cops for minor shoplifting (small amounts). The cops were complaining because Wal-Mart was wasting their time that could have been used to go after the drug trade or drunk driving and Wal-Mart was wasting their money paying people to prosecute little kids for stealing junk toys from the dollar toy aisle and other ridiculous things.
I don't think you should sue Wal-Mart. It's probably just somebody pretending to be a Wal-Mart employee or some employee of theirs on some kind of power trip just to be cruel.
You could have reported the employee to the manager if you wanted. Wal-Mart certainly doesn't want their employees behaving in that manner.

First of all, you will not be able to find a lawyer to take your case, and here is why: in order to sue anyone for anything, you have to have grounds - you have to have sustained a loss that was Wal-Mart's fault. You sustained no loss, except maybe a little hurt feelings. The guy was a jerk, no doubt, but being a jerk is not grounds for a lawsuit. If you had fallen and injured yourself worse due to him kicking you off the cart, then you would have had grounds.

Let's assume that you decide to sue. What evidence can you produce in court that this actually happened? Why didn't you tell them to go ahead and call the cops, and that you would wait for the cops to show up? THEN you might have had a case. Of course their videotapes won't show that you were using the cart in a negligent manner or horsing around will they?
You have no case. Get over it.

You had every right to assert the fact that you were injured and continue shopping. Doesn't sound like you did. If you had, and they injured you when removing you forcefully, perhaps?
Were you goofing off in it? Did it appear in any way that you were only using it for fun?
I still don't think you'd get anything out of them, nor would any attorney take your case, there's not enough money at the end of it. How much could that be worth? A grand? The attorney will cost $10K.

You didn't even say whether or not the person worked for Walmart. Okay, so you were embarrassed and left. What exactly would you sue for? If it was an employee, file a complaint with the manager and let it go.

You CANNOT sure Wal-Mart for something like that.
They guy just saw a couple of punk kids on an electric cart and wanted to protect the store's assets.
If you didn't do anything wrong - you wouldn't have left the store so quickly. The surveillance videos would have set you free.

Was the guy an employee? I don't think you should have been in a hurry to leave. Some people do ride on those things that's not hurt, but he still had no right to tell you to get up. You should have asked for a mananger and let them taken care of things. Maybe you would have got your stuff free!!! (Just Kidding). I think it was crazy for him to tell you to get up without an explanation.

The bottom line is that even though what the guy did wasn't right...there is no case. Next time if anything like this happens ask to talk to a manager and have them fill out a report. Good luck.
