Rules by Cynthia Lord is about a girl whose dad was killed in a when he was being driven to a hospital in an ambulance. He was in a car crash and a murderer killed the man with a gun in the ambulance. He was an undercover super spy for the Soviet Union. The girl grew up not knowing this and she became a spy for her father in the year 13 B.C.
