Well first I delete all the ones from ONE particular sender, without reading them them I start from the bottom and work my way up, deleteing as I go unless I want to keep them.

I sort by the sender. If it is from someone I do not know I delete it. Then I'll choose to read e-mails from the people who usually send interesting e-mails, then I'll read the rest.

I look at all my best answers first. Then emails from family and friends, then sift through forwards and click off the spam and I am done.
