Maybe not a list, but I would suggest Google. To narrow the slections down use the smart searching method and type "novels"+classic. Or a librarian. Whichever is faster

Local bookstores are a good start. Many like Barnes and Nobles, Borders, have entire sections designated to the classics....they have knowledgable staff similar to librarians that can help and plus you can purchase one if you like. Libraries, internet, etc. are also good places.
