The lyric "send an instant karma to me" is used repeatedly in the Yes song "I've Seen All Good People," written by Jon Anderson and Chris Squire for the 1971 album The Yes Album.

Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna knock you right on the head
You better get yourself together
Pretty soon you're gonna be dead
What in the world you thinking of
Laughing in the face of love
What on earth you tryin' to do
It's up to you, yeah you

John had some serious musical genius, that's no lie. And his vision of world peace is noble without a doubt. But he did much better when he stuck to personal experience than when he tried to tackle abstract, esoteric philosophies. He still gets kudos for outing the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi though. The boy could write a song! The one you're alluding to is not one of the better evidences of that though.
The song by Yes is called "Your Move." Amazingly awesome song.
