I am a transfer student from California. Some of my friends got a letter from UCLA, which asks them to apply scholarship. But I did not get one. Does that imply I was rejected by UCLA admission so I don't even have a chane to apply their scholorship?
The official release of decision is in April. But I am kinda worried now.

Not necessarily. You aren't rejected until you get the rejection letter. They might not know you are interested in a scholarship, your letter might not have been sent yet, you might be on a waitlist. There's a lot of maybes, so don't give up hope yet.

And even if they don't invite you to apply to the official UCLA scholarships, there are still thousands of other scholarships you can apply for. Check the UCLA Alumni Association website - I help review applications for scholarships for new and transfer students.

Some applicants are invited to apply for scholarships based on their academic records and/or profile. Just because you were not invited, doesn't mean you were rejected. Hang in there ... even if UCLA rejects you, you can still appeal the decision.

I don't recall getting an application to apply for scholarships at any of the UCs that accepted me. Well, Riverside might have. I didn't look too carefully at their packet.

Until April rolls around, don't read too much of anything. I got something from UCR months before any of the other schools sent me anything.

there are various motives she could get a letter and you does not. It does not advise you haven't any longer any probability in basic terms go forward an prepare. Many college will deliver letters out to scholars in specific golf equipment or that have positioned their names on a mail checklist.

If you were rejected, they would have told you. Hang in there.
