it was tryouts for city league basketball team a couple years ago. I arrived a little late. Everyone was practicing already. I signed in and had my paperwork processed. Then i asked "where the coach is" and the lady in front of me doing the paperwork puts her hand up and gives me this really mean look. I felt a little embarassed at first.
and had a feeling i wouldn't make the team.

When I was little my mom told me to go brush my teeth. Well at the time my uncle's girlfriend (now my aunt) was in the bathroom. I came running back to my mom and said, "Mom, I can't brush my teeth. That little old lady who we don't even know yet is in the bathroom."
I didn't remember the story until my aunt brought it up a couple of years ago. I was mortified.
