why is it that a dog does not like for you to blow in it's face?

For the same reason you don't like to be spitted on!!

They have sensative hairs around their face to tell if something is in close range to bite.......if you blow on them they automaticaly will make them bite.......so it is not too much about wether they like it or not because if you put the fan on and it's over 100's during the summer they will put their face right against it and don't do the same reaction from when you blow on them!!!

It must annoy them...I mean, I would put my head out a window, but would prefer that people not blow in my face, for example

I was just wondering the same thing. My shih tzus sneeze when I do that. My dogs are too little to stick their heads out the window, but they do enjoy investigating new sniffs!

My dog loves me blowing in her face. It makes her jump about like a mad thing, bark amd fetch her ball for a game. Mind you, she is a Weimaraner and they are notoriously off the wall hounds....
