here is the thing: i am in a new band, but none of of can write, and they chose ME to do it!!!!! well i cant write them either, so could i please have any suggestions or even a chorus or something like that? also please put a song name. that will help too. thanks

You can try this, I doubt it's very good but I wrote it one day when a couple of my friends were playing guitar. I named it shallow eyes

When you write a song, you need a "hook" -- the repetitive chorus-like part of the song that will stick in your head. Maybe you can start with a catchy hook and build a song around that. (Create the hook, then bridge, then fill in the lyrics with the music). Just look around you and pick an object. Then think of a catchy hook involving that object. Try it. Blue t-shirt. Now, you create the hook!
