He was born on October 9, 1940, his middle name was Winston. He was kicked out of school at the age of 5 and later discovered he was dyslexic. His mom taught him his first instrument which was the banjo. Decided he wanted to be a rocker after hearing "Heartbreak Hotel" by Elvis. He formed a group called the Quarrymen which would become the Beatles. He didn't want George Harrison in the band at first because of Georges young age. ON the road John would room with George and Paul with Ringo. In the 60's John bought himself an island. John married Cynthia Powell on August 23, 1962, after finding out she was pregnant. He didn't visit his wife or new son Julian in the hospital until nearly a week after his birth. John met Yoko in 1966 at an art show. Cynthia found out about John and Yoko's afair through the media..by 1968 JOhn and Cynthia were divorced. John married Yoko in 1969. John drank 20-30 cups of coffee a day. He was a bit of a nudist, often didn't wear clothes even when he had guests. Sean Lennon Ono was born on the same day as his father in 1975. John was murdered by Mark Chapman on Dec. 8 1980 in new york. A few hours prior to that John had signed an autograph for Chapman. Yoko had John's body cremated on Wednesday, December 10, 1980. John believed in reincarnation.

He was a very talented musician who was in the Beatles. He then branched out and started making his own music after he met Yoko Ono and had some issues with the other band members. He was very big into the war and peace and a lot of his music represented that.
He was shot and killed in the entryway of "The Dakota" apartment building in New York City where he was living at the time.
He now has a memorial in NY called Strawberry fields which has a huge tile memorial with the words Imagine. (Imagine was also one of his songs)

He had a great mind and was a humanist, his middle name was Winston, John hooked up with Yoko while Cynthia was away, and when Cyn (which he called her) returned to his house, Yoko came to the door wearing her bathrobe. He wasn't close to his mother, I think he was raised by his aunt, he died in Dec. 1980, when him and Yoko weren't getting along once she set him up with May Ling who was her friend, to try and get him to overcome his "wandering soul." And lastly, I can't figure out for the life of me what he saw in that ugly-faced troll!
