What the Pledge of Allegiance should be...
I pledge allegiance to myself,
and to the will of my own,
and to the republic, which will fall,
a false nation under god, divided,
and imprisonment and lies for all...

Hate it!

But I'm not oppose to dropping the Pledge of Allegiance completely. But that garbage you wrote is almost scary.

Dude don't forget the Patriot Act...cause those guys in the suits and glasses are watching you now.

I think it's really good. We should all pledge allegiance within ourselves and not become the robots which our countries want us to become. A pledge of allegiance was created to control the masses - yours definetly doesn't!

I like it. people say 'you're depressed' like it's bad, but a little depression isn't a bad thing in the land of the pill-poppin Happy Consciousness all too eager to accept lies and mass insanity rather than disrupt their delicate emotional equilibriam.

A cynical, self centered poem. You obviously don't think much of where you live. The USA has problems, but we have survived. Not with people like you, but people with faith and hope.
