How do I build a 5 stall shed row barn?

Question

Just simple : 4 walls, 5 stalls, each with asimple dutch door and each with a drop down window in back. How much do you think it would cost?

10 x10 or 12 x 12 stalls
no floors needed
not too much snow around here
no huge amount of site work, just sand and stall mats (no floors)
no foundation of any sort needed

What you are describing is a five bay single slope building. It is relatively easy to construct, but without more information, I have no Idea of costs.
How big are the stalls?
What type of building materials?
Where is the frost line at your locale ?
Do you even require floors?
What are the snow loads (if any) in your area?
How much site prep is required, (don't forget drainage)?

First you'll have to find out what the building codes are. If you have to have a contractor it may be too expensive where you live. My friend refitted a large garden shed into a one stall barn very cheaply. This works for horses under 15 HH or you can think about a prefabricated one stall barn and storage. I see ads for them all over Craigslist. Google some and see what you come up with.

It's called a pole barn, all your uprights are planted 4' in the ground, beam acrost the uprights, lay in 2x6 on 2' centers for the ceiling, if installing tin, run 2x4 purlins across on 2' centers to provide a nailer for tin but use screws.

that is not the job for a greenhorn, I'd contact a reputable contractor.

Cost of material is fluctuate depending on what you intend to accomplish but you can get an idea by mutiplying the square footage by 125.00

That is not a standard price just a ball park figure.
