sloth -- South and Central America; is one of the few mammals that doesn't have seven neck vertebrae (it has six to nine depending on species) and of course spends all its life hanging upside-down.
kune-kune -- a pig from New Zealand that has tassels on the throat. They are sometimes kept as pets in Europe and America
flying squirrel -- North America and Europe; they're a squirrel and they glide. Need I say more?
hagfish -- several species worldwide, mainly deepwater. Feed on corpses, exude buckets of slime as self-defence, etc etc
