I was told to give my son a little cooled boiled water before his feed to help with the wind, but it didn't make much difference. I was also told to try a little peppermint cordial which can help release the trapped gas (bear in mind that this will contain sugar).
Another tip was to try bottles made by doctor brown which have a valve in them to avoid air getting to the baby.
My children loved gripe water though and practically lived on it in their first few months. Infacol is also good. Have you tried putting it in his milk?
If he is suffering badly lying him on your knee on his tummy will help, also a very gentle massage on his tummy could help release the gas!! Baby massage classes are very good and your instructor will show you the best way to do this.
There are so many tips but they dont' work for everyone. Persevere, you'll get there.
Good luck with finding your answer.

Homeopathic remedy Colocynth 6c. This is so good, some larger branches of Boots the Chemist sell it at the pharmacy counter. I'm a wee bit sceptical when it comes to these things but I can't tell you what a difference it made to my wee boy.

Try plain boiled water from a sterilised bottle. Use a fast flow teat, which will cause the air to build up quickly, and he will bring the wind up.

talk to your midwife or doctor try cutting his milk down during the day and instead of baby juice or regular juice give him water he might take some time to get use to it but persist when he gets thirsty enough he will drink it and dont think its being cruel giving him just water if it might help him with his wind you could also try winding him after drinks and meals its he crying alot with it? he might have a bit of colic so talk to the chemist aswell they are very helpful

Infacol works fairly well. A couple of my kids had bad colic & with the last one I went to see a cranial osteopath. After 3 visits she went from screaming at every feed to being a happy content little girl. I highly recomend it.
