I wouldn't. It may look too casual and that leads people to think you woudn't be responsible.

No, wear some nice dress slacks or a skirt. You want to impress not only the office manager, but keep in mind there may be patients in the waiting area who will see you. The dentist wants the person at their front desk to portray a professional, clean image for him to the patients. After you get hired you may be able to wear scrubs or a more casual attire depending on the dress code.

Maybe if you were interviewing for a job as the Crocodile Hunter that might work.
Be cautious. If you look too good you will turn off interviewers who do not look so good. If you look like a slob, or show tatoos, forget it. Dress professionally.
That is such a loaded question. The shorts might be fine for an interview in an area where people classically dress in a light hearted way.

I would advise against it. I have hired/fired personnel over the years. It is possible, if you get hired, you will be able to where the cords. But you want to go above and beyond to impress. First impressions are big and lasting.
If the job came between you (in cords) and another, equal person in a suite and tie, I'd hire the latter.

I say no to the Khaki Cords.
A nice pair of dress slacks with shirt...a jacket would be a nice touch.
Use empathy and put yourself in the clients eyes walking in the Dental Office....what would impress you with what the receptionist or assistant would be wearing?...Wear that.
Good Luck.

I would say no. Sorry! Job interviews are tricky things, and you want to stand out as looking professional and smart. So i'd say stick with boring suit trousers im afraid. Good Luck!
