does the time between periods effect the time of periods? example- longer time = longer period?

Hi i guess everyone is different, but for me if i go longer without one i still only bleed for 4 to 5 days. I do find however that my first day (if im late) is heavier

I would guess that it probably varies from woman to woman, but in my personal case, it does.

I am on a 35-36 day cycle, but my periods are always over 7 days long.

The only problem it gives me is that it's never at one time of the calender month...

No it does not affect it. Every girl has a pattern for her period, I mean heaviness and duration. If it is late the same applies.

i would say that depends on the person. for some people its different everytime and for others its always the same.
