Obviously all certification programs show a dedication to the craft. Which one stands out?

I see a lot of job postings looking for Sigma Six Blackbelts.

I agree with your point that all cert. programs are positive. Also, like the other folks said, Six sigma is never bad, and lean is very hot right now. Overall, though, the most recognized supply chain cert is from APICS (CPIM or CIRM)- not because it is necessarily the best, but because it is well known.

sigma six but also knowledge of lean manufacturing seems to be a big one in the want ads.
