Yes they do, but it's all bacteria free as it is pure amniotic fliud.
On one of my scans, the sonographer showed us that our little girl was having a wee there and then...then she waved at us.
It just goes back into the surrounding amniotic fluid.

Yes babies do potty in the womb....it stays in the amniotic fluid.

If a baby has a bowel movement too close to delivery they will stop it when only the head is delivered and suction baby out...if not and it takes a breath and gets it in it's lungs it can make it very sick and can even cause death.

I believe they pee inside the womb and it just kind of hangs out in there with them. Thats what ive been told, poo on the other hand i think happens outside of the womb and if it does happen inside the womb it can cause a nasty infection, which is why if your water breaks and its green that usually means they passed their first stool inside the womb.

Amniotic fluid is made up from baby pee, and of course a few other things. But it is very dangerous for them to poop meconium while in the womb.

Not usually. In most cases it builds up in their intestines and after birth is eliminated as feces called mecunium (sp?). It's dark, and tar-like in apperance, with no real odor. In certain rare instances, however, such as if an infant is stressed in utero, they will eliminate in the womb, and it is seen as discoloration when the bag of waters is broken. If this occurs, it's important to call your doctor immediately!

Not the way they do after birth. Since the fetus is still attached to the mother via the umbilical cord, it receives it's nutrients through the blood stream. Waste if any is metabolic through the mother's kidneys, bloodstream, etc.

Yes. That is a large part of the amniotic fluid.

Yes. It goes right into the amniotic fluid, which is replaced every day or so (I forget how many hours). They swallow the amniotic fluid and then urinate it back out.
