Can Norton AntiVirus 2006 (with an active subscription) be set up on my main computer to also scan (either manually or automatically) my networked wireless laptop? And if so... um... how, in simple terms, as I know just enough about computers to... um... get myself into trouble ;) Thank you!!

I already do have Norton AV on both computers. My subscription is running out on the laptop, and rather than renew it, I was hoping I could get the one from the main computer to scan on the laptop as well.

Any more thoughts?

No, it's an application which must be installed on each computer. I reccomend you switch to AVG anti-virus, which is free and is not a memory hog.

Good question. If I remember right. You would need to buy the server edition or equivalent. I only deal with McAfee so it's been a while and I might be out of the loop.
