Besides the caverns is there anything interesting to see in the northern west part of VA?

I want to go for vacation there It's near Luray and Strawsburg. We can go within 1 hour drive. Thanks for any ideas.

If you are stick specifically in that area, you could try going to the Natural Bridge of Virginia, it's a cool place to visit. If you can go in a large area, you should go down to North Carolina, visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation in Cherokee. Also, you could visit the state line with WV, KY, or NC. There's nothing else I can think of, hope that helps.

You may want to check out Washington, D.C. There are also a bunch of tiny historic cities around. I liked visiting the museums and parks in those cities.
