In the end, who else have you got? If you don't learn to love yourself, you don't respect your own values, your own body, and basically, don't give a damn about yourself or anybody else. Yes, I would say self love is the greatest of all. It is hard to achieve because it is the human nature to try to be as others are, to copy cat and act as our peers do. We have to learn to stand for what we believe in and learn to take care of what we have and to appreciate it and nurture and love ourself. It is very hard to achieve as we are products of each other.

When you learn to love God and what that really means...He will teach you have to love yourself. You will come to know a strong appreciation of him and all that he creates for his glory and magnification when this happens you learn to love yourself for you are the temple of the Holy Spirit thus you will do nothing to hurt it because you belong to him. Your life is a service to God so the love you have for that respect and fact will flourish through love starting from within yourself! Not just for yourself but for others as well. The greatest love of all is the example to know what Gods love in our lives.

It really is. Because like the saying goes, "You can't expect someone to be able to love you, if you can't love yourself." And it isn't easy. But it is something that you have to do in order to have the respect for yourself that is needed to survive.
