Okay, this is the wierdest cut. I was brushing my teeth rather hard and i guess i missed the teeth and hit my gums. PRETTY HARD. and TWICE. Now in the front of my mouth between the upper row of my teeth and the skin. There is a small cut and a small hole. Yes. A HOLE. It burns sometimes and it looks kind of deep. It also hurts. How on earth do i take care of this hole?

Cuts in the mouth heal amazingly quickly. You probably don't need to do anything, assuming it's not bleeding profusely. You may want to chat w/the dentist or doctor, but you should be just fine. Easy on the brushing for a few days, but I think you'll be surprised at how fast this will heal.

they make a medicated rinse called ricin. I may have spelled that wrong but you can find it in the ailse with the toothbrushes I think. it will put a coating on the cut and heal it. even my 4 year old who hates everything loves it when she has a soar in her mouth. Go to the store and find it. warm water with salt will make it sting. might heal it but why make it hurt when there is something that doesn't

Lisa is correct. The human mouth - like more private parts of the human body - heal remarkable quickly - although it may not seem quick to you. Stick it out if you can, sunshine. It will be gone in a couple of days. And believe me, the pain will get easier.

Wash out your mouth with warm salt water - It will burn a little, but it will help it heal quickly - do this after you brush.

I know what you're going to say to this: "NO WAY", but......if you rinse with warm salt water once or twice a day it will promote the healing. I promise you it will work.

Put some carme or some other cold sore medication on it. You don't want it to get infected.
