They certainly seem good value for money, but since I'm new to all this "downloading" games/movies etc I'm just a little concerned. Any advice would be appreciated.

Those sites are crap, just look up google for Pspblender Scam, they only tell you to go to torrent sites.
Save your money and look elsewhere.
No one has games or movies you can legally download, they will all point you in the direction of the torrents.
