Lets just say it didn't deserve the Oscar.

I saw it, and liked it as much as one can like a movie that points out our planets' impending doom. I've since heard that if everyone on the planet stopped emitting greenhouse gasses today, we'd still be dealing with the consequences of our actions so far for the next 50 to 250 years. I try not to give in to despair, to hold on to some hope, yet I can't help feeling that most of the U.S. might not be habitable 50 years from now. If only we could put solar, wind, hydroelectric...etc. on the fast track, but I don't see it happening. Sorry I drifted so far from your question. The general subject concerns me greatly, and I feel that far too many are still ignoring it.

Didn't see it, don't want to!

Al Gore owns, and presumably lives in, a 10,000 sq ft mansion in TN that consumes more electric power in one month than most homes use in a year! He has a "carbon footprint" bigger than a Yeti, and presumes to tell us how to live? BULLS***!

Let's file his opinion under "C" for crapola, right along with Ariana Huffington's opinion of SUV's (another trendy, rich, know nothing who craves attention!) Why should I reduce, reuse and recycle on their command, so they can use even more than they already do?

All of these rich bums who want ME top change my habits "for a better world" remind me of a stupid protester I saw outside of Burger King many years ago. She was ranting and raving about how meat eaters are causing animal suffering and that we should all adopt a vegetarian diet, wearing a leather miniskirt, a leather vest, and over the calf leather boots! (Hello!!!! Cattle do NOT shed their skin! How many animals died to provide you with your outfit!)

I've watched it and found it wonderfull. I think Mr. Gore has really made his point. Ana I believe in what he says. I think everyone should be aware of where we are heading to.... And do smthg to improve it.

I think it one of the better lectures I've heard. I'm not sure it was a great documentary so much as it was an excellent essay.

i have seen it, it was pretty informative but very boring. there was hour long power point presentations how ridiculous is that, it seemed more impacting to see actual images of the affects.

The only part of the movie that had truth in it was the title.
