Get yourself a copy of WinXP manager, it has a very advanced intallation and uninstallation program that promises to remove a program ans its registry settings...

Not necessarily...Right click on the icon and select "open" or "run as". C what happens.

No. It is most likely a problem with the link. This happens to me occasionally and is solved by rebooting my computer.
