She is a very intelligent woman who has made a success of her life. She's a self-made millionaire. About 500 million. She has credibility and is a "take-charge" kind of person. A lot of people look up to Oprah and she has integrity. Plus having your own TV talk show is helpful in getting your word out and you can take a stand on what you believe in. Oprah's done this. She's a lover of education and shows it. That's why when Nelson Mandela asked her to help in Africa, she built the girls Leadership Academy.

She has a LOT of money
She gives a LOT to charity
She got herself to where she is by working very hard
She is very talented
