I can speak three languages: Indonesian, English and Swedish. My native language is Indonesian. Japanese was used to be my second language seven years ago but now I have forgot everything simply because I do not want to continue on learning the language. I currently studying Spanish. So I can understand basic Spanish but can only speak really simple ones due to the fact that my vocabulary is very limited.

My native language is English. I understand a very small amount of Spanish from working and living around Mexicans. And I speak and understand a small amount of French from when I took i in high school. In fact, given that I stopped taking French about 17 years ago and haven't been exposed to it except for a few movies, I'm amazed by how much I remember. It's not enough that I can understand a fluent speaker, but enough that the language sounds familiar and I can pick up the gist of a conversation.

Chicago English, Chicago Spanish, Chicago Sicilian.
My native language is English (born and raised in Chicago!), but my mother tongue is Sicilian.
Japanese is a hard language, it seems. I have a family member who takes it in school, good for someone in the overseas business trade because a lot of international business depends on Japanese interpretors!
