And I particularly like it when one company calls themselves AAAAAAAAAAAAA Plumbers ltd to be first and then another cleverer company call themselves 0000000000AAAAAA Plumbers Ltd to be even firsterer.

ha ha, no I havent I actually go out of my way to avoid them. For some reason it seems unfair on other companies and sort of like cheating - they dont seem trustworthy. And also like they're too crap to make a name for themselves so they just have to be the first one in the yellow pages
However I do often go for the ones with the bigger adverts, only because it tells you exactly what services they provide

Done that couple of times. It was a long time ago. Now I use Yell.co.uk - so much easier! But i am looking at the coverage area first, not on the name. No matter how many AAAAAA will be there.
