There is no ideal age. You must be happy with who you are, and what age you are, because you cannot change it backwards, and it goes forwards all by itself. Embrace who you are, and take pleasure in the here and now. If this is impossible, meditate on how you can be better when you are older, and all the good times you had when you were younger, but do not dwell on these things, for you can have that kind of fun now, if you only will let go of your grown-up self, and be a kid again. If you really want to feel younger, do things that young children do. Play on a Slip-n-Slide, wrestle your dog, or watch some Disney channel or Nickelodion. This will channel your younger side, but do not take it to extremes, that could be mentally dangerous. Again, there is no ideal age, and be content with who you are, because you are the only you the world has got.

lol - 21 seems like the ideal age, but when I got to be 30, I realized how little I knew then and thought I was just starting the prime of my life at 30.

Now I am coming up on 40 and my kids are bigger so I have a new freedom and we are starting on our 2nd careers - I feel like I am starting the prime of life now that I can stop buying diapers and enjoy the peace and new level of security, now that the kids are easier to manage and we are comfortable in our business affairs.

Then I look at my mom - she gets all the kissing and loving from my kids and none of the screaming. She and her husband get to travel and go to the wineries and they seem more in control of their lives than ever and I wonder what the ideal age is myself.

I think the ideal age is the age that you are right now. There is nothing better than now - each and every day.

Peace!

I thought 12 was when I was 12 then I got to 18 and I thought "wow this is cool."

21 didn't change anything for me and neither did 25 though I was in great shape then, at 30 I thought "life gets better with age" and now in my late 30s I couldn't be happier.

I think your ideal age is the age you were happiest at. I think given a wish from a genie I think I would go with 25 and in the best shape of my life, but without the powers of magic- I am happy at pushing 40.
