I was 25 before I got my ears pierced. Everyone else in my high school class got their ears pierced but I was never one to follow the crowds. I aways did (and still do) my own thing. I now have 3 holes pierced in each lobe. I think 2 is too young to get your daughter's ears pierced. Even if they never got infected, I would be afraid she would put one of them out and rip her lobe. They sell stick-on earrings now that you could buy. They have cute flowers, ladybugs, etc. and are colorful and do not cost too much. Use those until she is older and can be responsible for taking care of her own ears once she gets them pierced.

there won't be a minimum age for ear piercing and that i might propose getting a women ears pierced as quickly as available. dissimilar places will ask for immunisation information and function a minimum age, yet once you save around beforehand you're able to be fortunate and discover someplace which will do it at any age. I waited 6 months with my eldest daughter and that i wanted I had finished it previously. It went so nicely although that I had her ears double pierced a pair of months later. With my twins (boy/female), i replaced into dreading waiting 4 months which replaced into the earliest ought to discover to pierce them. thankfully i stumbled on a place that should do it at any age, and that i had their ears pierced whilst they have been 3 days previous. With my youngest daughter i did not even wait that long and he or she had her ears pierced for the 1st time whilst she replaced right into some hours previous. on the grounds that then I actual have had their ears pierced back because of fact it somewhat is common the place we are living for women to have their ears pierced extra desirable than as quickly as at a youthful age yet i stumbled on it lots extra easy to hold them nonetheless for their ears to be pierced the extra youthful they have been. i think of curiously so attractive once you notice a tiny infant with pierced ears, and might do an analogous if I had to any extent further babies. all of it somewhat relies upon on each and each guy or woman save, yet sturdy success in looking someplace which will do them as quickly as you decide on.

I personally dont remember the pain because I was 3 year old! lol my mom did this at home and froze both me and my sisters ears and pierced our ears with half a potato and a sterilized needle. she did a good job but not at lining them up right lol! I hope the best for ya and I think that she's going to be fine! just take her to a professional not like what my mom did to me and my sister lol! Somewhere like at the mall where they do it all the time or in tattoo and piercing place.

I got my ears pierced for my 9th birthday. My mom let me pick what I wanted for my birthday and that was it. Do it if you want to but just weigh the pros and cons! I think she'll remember if you do it now anyways.
P.S. I have an 8 month old daughter. My husband wanted to get her diamond studs to pierce her ears with. I said no. She can wait until shes older and makes that decision on her own. Hopefully she'll wait until she can take care of them!

i think that is should be you daughters decision.... you should let her come to you when shes older and she'll ask you if she get her ears pierced. If you got her ears piecred now she maybe not want holes in her ears. Let her decide.... it maybe cute but it could also be more torturous for you to watch considering shes 2 and little kids can't handle that much pain. and also if shes like 14 when she gets them pierced it wont hurt as much because you can handle more pain when your older.

You should wait until she's older, for sure. If kids are that little, you may be so busy with their other things that their ears don't get cleaned! And also, what does it matter if they "remeber the pain" when they're older? When she gets older, she will want them for sure. I say wait until then.
If you have to pierce her ears now, go to a doctor's office.

I do not personally view it as a good idea, because I think getting holes put into one's head should be up to the person in question.
There are risks involved, as well. Infection is a big one. Children also tend to pull at earrings, and all it takes is one time in their mouth for something awful to happen. Doctors generally frown upon it, for these reasons.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure you will do what is right for you. Good luck.
