Hi! I'm 9 to 10 days past ovulation. This morning I took a home pregnancy test (Dollar Tree Brand). This is a link to my result. I inverted the image as well to show the line I saw. It appeared within the time limit. It didn't look grey to me, but a pale pink. What do you think? Here's a link to the picture at seven minutes..

also, that was the line 10 minutes into the test, it appeared around 7 minutes.

Nine hours later I get home and look at the test. The line that was formerly positive has dried and now looks different, like an evap. here's a picture after about 9 hours have passed:

is it still positive? I know that the initial result should be the real one, but i want to make sure. isnt the reason why they say to check during the 10 minutes BECAUSE result may change??

ANOTHER THING! I'm due for my period March 10th 07. That's in 4 days. (kind of excited me when I read the first answer!!)

And I plan to get a digital test if i get another faint line. I'm testing again tomorrow morning.

It is possible, I had a faint line like that when I was pregnant 4 days before I missed my period! before you get excited by one or two cheap test, even from dollar store, they work as well, and if you get a faint line again I would say congrads! or you could wait a few more days and retest... I know the suspense is a killer.. good luck!

I see the line as well..it could be both an evaporated line which u should only take as a positive usually within 5 minutes, anything after 10 minutes disregard...it could also be a positive...u are still very early if u are pregnant and should wait until u are at least 12-16 days past ovulation to get a true result..dollar store tests do work dont get me wrong but its best if u wanna test this early to get a different brand...i used the answer early result and got a very clear positive at 12 days past my ovulation date...and the test is fairly cheap at 11 dollars for 2. take a test again in 3 days.,...good luck and congrats if u are indeed pregnant...by the way to keep your hopes up here is a link that shows same thing as u and was definitely positive,.,.http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i99/waitingpositively/test.jpg&imgrefurl=http://waitingpositively.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_waitingpositively_archive.html&h=218&w=320&sz=107&hl=en&start=2&tbnid=6H8rDW-JsIEfeM:&tbnh=80&tbnw=118&prev=/images%3Fq%3Devaporation%2Bline%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN

I would do another test - But you must get the results within 10 minutes - after 10 minutes throw the thing away and don't look at it again. Do a test the first "p" of the morning. I just looked at the pictures and normally a positive is very pink- it will look more like the first line. I think its negative

Mine looked like that too, you are just very early and not much hormone there, but it's a line! Any line, even a faint one is a positive, congratulations!!! If I were you, just to make it more real, wait untill tomorrow (and try afternoon) and try a good brand. I recommend Clear Blue Easy, that one showed up the best, even early on. :)

do not believe the blue line exams :( I have been given a "helpful" on a blue plus/minus try final July and replaced into so excited!!!! basically to take many many different exams that have been detrimental and then get my era. seems the blue line exams could nicely be very difficult and that i truthfully don't be attentive to why. stay remote from blue lines and stick to the pink! i ultimately have been given a "genuine helpful" on a FRER Sept.2- and that i actually took 5 categories of exams till i presumed it after my terrible adventure with the blue dye exams!

I think it may be positive. If you can afford it, spring for a digital test that reads preg or non preg. Thats what I would do.

that didnt look like a positive result to me...you can usually tell where the line would be and i think that is all that is.
i would just retest...
