Yea mostly...They seperated wen i was 12 & ever since i was 14 my mom got a boyfriend & don't really pay much attention to me lol she goes to his house with him & his 2 little kids from thurs-tues ppl tell me its just cuz im 17 & she know's i can take care of myself but you kno its nice to have a mom around even if ur older...she pay tha rent makes sure i got food & she'z off lol...but w.e i gess at least im gettin a little independent so i can move away lol

My parents took almost too much of an active role, to be honest.

My mom took an active role in raising me. My dad disappeared when I was 6.

Mainly just feed and clothe me until my mom remarried when I was 10 and suddenly wanted to be a mom and I fought it hard.

A very active role and it wasn't just my parents, my grandparents, aunt and uncle did too. I loved it :)

feed and clothe then i got a job at 13 and did it all myself...except rent of course i couldnt pay rent on 4.50 an hour in california even in 1987

VERY active. I have great parents. They are active in my life to this day.

I moved back and forth between grandparents, dad, and mom.
Grandparents in hindsight where best for me. Parents sucked at parenting just ignored me.
